You've been trying to conceive
Months of trying, or years, with no clear reason why. We look for the cause others stopped investigating.
You've been through recurrent miscarriage
Repeated loss is rarely bad luck. In most cases there is a cause we can find and treat.
IVF hasn't worked for you
Our treatment is a process over time. Success rates increase the longer you're in treatment. Our adjusted live birth rate is 53.6%.
How NeoFertility works
Restorative reproductive medicine starts with real answers
Most fertility clinics move straight to treatment without ever finding out what is wrong. At NeoFertility, finding your answer is where everything begins.
-
The investigation
The answers others missed
Timed blood tests, fertility charting, scans, and a detailed clinical assessment to find the real reason.
-
Both of you
Your partner is included from day one
Male factor is involved in up to half of cases, so both of you are assessed from the first appointment.
-
Your treatment
Your treatment is personalised to your cycle chart
Hormone support timed to your cycle, medication for ovulation quality, lifestyle changes, and surgery where needed for conditions like endometriosis.
-
Over time
Your overall health improves
Treating the underlying disorders (PCOS, endometriosis, thyroid, hormone imbalance) resolves the root causes of PMS, fatigue, and mood swings, so you feel better.
-
After the positive test
Support continues after a positive pregnancy test
Your pregnancy is monitored with regular blood tests and direct access to your fertility team and NeoFertility doctor.

“I had six miscarriages. Dr. Boyle said he’d done everything he could for me and I was ready to throw in the towel. But then, in early 2012, I phoned the office after yet another positive test. Despite a roller coaster first 12 weeks, we finally succeeded. Rory was born. Then Molly.”
-
“18 years of trying to become a mam. Six miscarriages. I attended so many different doctors and clinics and hospitals. Eventually I made my way to NeoFertility. I was ready to give up. Dr. Boyle said, ‘Lynsey, you are on the brink of something wonderful. To give up now would be a shame.’ Zachariah was delivered at 38 weeks and 1 day.”
-
“Stage 4 endometriosis. My bowel had fused to my ovary. My surgeon did not think I would be able to conceive naturally and said maybe 5%. We figured we had nothing to lose and made an appointment with NeoFertility. Everything changed for us from that day. We had a healthy baby boy.”
What NeoFertility treats
Conditions NeoFertility treats
NeoFertility treats most categories of infertility, including recurrent miscarriage, low ovarian reserve, unexplained infertility, and more. See all conditions.
- PCOS/PMOS PCOS/PMOS disrupts ovulation and hormonal balance, and we treat the underlying metabolic cause rather than masking symptoms with the pill. Read more
- Low AMH A low AMH number is a starting point for investigation, not a verdict, because natural conception needs one good egg per cycle, not eight. Read more
- Endometriosis Endometriosis affects fertility and pregnancy; we treat it medically and refer for excision when surgery is the right next step. Read more
- Fertility After 35 Age is a real factor in fertility, not the whole story, and we investigate the full picture for both partners. Read more
- Male Factor Infertility Male factor contributes in a significant proportion of couples, so we investigate and treat both partners from the first appointment. Read more
- Menopause Reversal When FSH rises and the ovaries become unresponsive, we use an FSH-resensitisation protocol that aims to restore follicular activity. Read more
- Chronic Endometritis Chronic endometritis is a persistent uterine lining inflammation that standard workups frequently miss; we investigate it as a treatable cause of implantation failure. Read more
- Postnatal Depression The sharp progesterone drop after delivery is a key hormonal driver of postnatal mood disturbance, and re-introducing it addresses the cause directly. Read more
- Unexplained Infertility Unexplained infertility is a label describing the limits of a standard workup, not a diagnosis; we almost always find a cause on full investigation. Read more
- Recurrent Miscarriage Repeated loss is rarely bad luck; in most couples we investigate there is an underlying cause we can find and treat. Read more
- Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS/PMDD) PMS and PMDD are a signal that the luteal phase hormonal picture is not right, and they respond well to treatment. Read more
- Hormonal Dysfunction Suboptimal progesterone, thyroid dysfunction, and DHEA deficiency are hormonal causes of infertility that standard workups often miss, and we identify and correct them directly. Read more

What to expect
Your first visit
Your first appointment is with Dr. Boyle or Dr. Toth at the clinic in Sandyford, Dublin 18. They review your history, discuss your goals, and begin building your diagnostic picture. You will leave with a clear plan.
Age and timing
NeoFertility regularly treats women in their late 30s and 40s. The 53.6% live birth rate includes patients with an average age of 37. If you are wondering whether it is too late, that depends on your individual clinical picture.
Timeline
The diagnostic phase typically spans 1 to 3 cycles. Treatment begins concurrently -- you are not waiting months for answers before anything happens.
No referral needed
You can contact us directly. No GP referral is required, though the team is happy to coordinate with your GP throughout treatment. If a friend told you about us, that is how most of our patients found us too.
"My overall health and my awareness of my health and my wellbeing has significantly improved by being treated by NeoFertility." -- Susannah

Common questions
Questions couples ask us
-
What is restorative reproductive medicine?
Restorative reproductive medicine finds and treats the underlying medical causes of infertility and recurrent miscarriage instead of bypassing them. At NeoFertility it combines cycle charting, timed blood tests, scans, and treatment of conditions such as endometriosis and hormonal dysfunction. -
Is NeoFertility an alternative to IVF?
NeoFertility is an evidence-based alternative to IVF. Rather than bypassing the problem, NeoFertility investigates why a couple has not conceived and treats the cause, helping many couples conceive naturally. In a 2015 cohort of 412 couples the adjusted live birth rate was 53.6%, including couples who had previously failed IVF. -
What conditions does NeoFertility treat?
NeoFertility treats unexplained infertility, recurrent miscarriage, endometriosis, PCOS, low AMH, and hormonal conditions from PMS to perimenopause. A full workup reduced unexplained infertility from 24% to 1% in a 2025 study of 187 couples (Boyle et al., JRRM). See all conditions. -
Is NeoFertility based on NaProTechnology?
Our method grew out of NaProTechnology, the clinical system developed by Dr. Thomas Hilgers, and has developed into restorative reproductive medicine. It looks at the full cycle picture: mucus, hormones, ultrasound timing, and the male factor.
